This initiative has been identified as a priority by the Grampian Coaching partnership. We are committed to the development of Education and Training which specifically targets coaches, officials and other sports practitioners. Funding for the scheme comes from the local Sport Council and therefore your club or you as an individual have to be affiliated to the Sports Council in your area.
The local Sports Councils meet at least every 8 weeks to look at applications under the Three Tiers which will be explained in greater detail below. Grampian Coaching can offer additional funding to applicants applying under the Tier 2/3 category. This will be classified as an Enhanced Scholarship. The scheme will be regularly monitored and evaluated in order to assess the benefits and impact. There is no obligation on Grampian Coaching or any of the Sports Councils to award financial assistance to any applicant.
Please identify from the scheme which categories you wish to apply for, complete all relevant sections and return by submitting the online form on the bottom of the page.
